But honestly, it's easy to hear a very shallow character. And if you attach to every fictional character that talks to you, you can end up with a lot of "tulpas".

As far as I'm aware there are no solutions other than thinning the number count in your system

You can always decide who's the most important and disappate the rest. An ethical argument is "the combined happiness of the 5 of us is less than the happiness of one of us post-dissapation."

I tried to keep them alive at all cost. I was thinking of them as people who deserve to live the same as me. I felt responsible for creating them. But they didn't really want to live. It was me who wasn't able to let them go. Don't you feel similar for some of your companions, @Deleted User ? (edited)
